Another Video Of New 991 Series 911 Emerges
The new generation of the Porsche 911 aka 991 Series was caught by cameras without any camouflage driving around Germany. The video appears to be captured by an amature; and clearly shows the newly designed rear end and bumper in camouflage free production form. If you look closely at the end of the video, it also shows the new 991 series without the “Turbo” intake vents on the rear quarters.
It is reported that Porsche will be downsizing the engine in the new 991 Series from the 3.6L flat-six to a 3.4L direct-injected flat-six engine that delivers a total of 350 HP at 6400 rpm and max torque of 280 lb-ft between 4400 and 6000 rpm. The Carrera S, on the other hand, will get a 3.8-liter flat-six with direct injection engine that delivers a total of 400 HP at 7000 rpm, leaving it with a 4.5 seconds 0-60mph sprint time and a top speed of 188mph.
